What have you learned since you were selected?
I have grown a lot both personally and professionally since being selected five years ago. One of the biggest things I’ve learned is how amazing the Topeka community is and the diverse talent in leadership that we have here.
What do you know now that you wish you knew then?
It’s okay to slow down and to say no sometimes. Commit yourself to your true passion and stay true to that always.
What advice would you give to aspiring young professionals?
Success is a grind and it is not a sprint but a continuous marathon. Hard work, determination, commitment and grit are what keeps momentum moving forward to great opportunities in your future.
