Family Medicine Provider Andrew Kwan, M.D., joins Stormont Vail Health

Stormont Vail Health is proud to announce that Andrew Kwan, M.D., M.B.A., has joined our team and will practice as a family medicine physician, located at Cotton O’Neil Family Medicine, 823 S.W. Mulvane St., Topeka, KS 66606.

Dr. Kwan knew he wanted to be a physician since he was a young kid. After working in engineering in a hospital, he was inspired to go back to school and earn his medical degree. He specifically chose family medicine has his specialty because of the diverse range of patients he is able to provide care for and build a relationship with.

“My passion comes from making an impact in my patient’s lives,” said Dr. Kwan. “Even small changes like quitting smoking can have huge impacts on their health and overall life. Celebrating each of these wins with my patients keeps both of us motivated to continue on the journey to a healthier life.”

Dr. Kwan earned his medical degree in 2016 from University of Kansas School of Medicine, Kansas City, Kansas. He completed his family medicine residency at the University of Missouri – Kansas City, Kansas City, Missouri, in 2020.

Dr. Kwan enjoys cycling with his two children. Spending time outdoors, hiking and visiting national parks are a few of the activities Dr. Kwan and his family do in their free time.
