Vision Bank Welcomes Ranae Baum Mortgage Loan Processor
The Mortgage Services Team at VisionBank is growing! VisionBank leadership recently announced that
Ranae Baum will be joining their organization as a Mortgage Loan Processor. Ranae brings nearly three
decades of experience and expertise in title insurance and closing services for residential and commercial
transactions. Her experience working on all aspects of loans allows her work to feel seamless, passing on
that fluidity to her customers throughout the lending process. Ranae is a life-long Kansan and brings lots
of local connections to her role at VisionBank.
Ranae’s career in lending began in title insurance where she served as Closing Manager for 15 years.
She managed communication, information-sharing, and relationships between lenders, mortgage
companies, buyers, and sellers. She motivated a team of employees to improve not only the company’s
daily operations, but to improve their own professional skills. Her leadership has helped countless
individuals in our industry grow and develop into successful and contributing financial professionals.
Ranae then transitioned to Director of Closing for the Northeast Kansas region of a large title agency for
14 years. In this role, Ranae truly saw all ends of the lending spectrum. Not only was she a subject-matter
expert in all the details associated with processes and procedures, but she was able to pull back and view
the larger pictures, collaborating with managers to deliver consistent leadership across teams.
VisionBank recently announced its upcoming merger with Community National Bank which is set to close
in early December of this year. Currently with two locations in Topeka and one in Overland Park,
VisionBank has always been a trusted banker in their local communities. Adding Ranae Baum as an
industry expert during this time of transition will provide another consistent touchpoint for VisionBank
customers who will soon reap the benefits of these two respected financial institutions joining forces.
