Who are your heroes?
My parents, for being amazing role models and teaching the value of family, faith, love, hard work, believing in yourself, and courage.
What do you hope your legacy will be?
On a professional level, I hope that through my work, I am able to have a part in supporting nursing and improving the lives and the health of those in our community.
How has the current situation impacted your thoughts on leadership?
Right now, people need to know and especially feel their leaders’ engagement at a personal level. Every day brings new challenges and a level of stress that was not there a year ago. There is a new level of difficulty because the path you had in mind for your goals, or your team, have new barriers that greatly affect the ability to get where you want to go.
What superpower would you choose?
The ability to cure all illness, of course. I'm a nurse.
