SME Topeka Resumes In-Person Meetings

Sales & Marketing Executives of Topeka (SME Topeka) will resume in-person meetings on Tuesday, April 13 at the Topeka Country Club. There will be a networking social at 5:30 pm and dinner will be held at 6:00 pm. The presentation will immediately follow dinner. The speaker is Bruce Steinbrock, Senior Director of Development for Washburn Athletics.

Bruce Steinbrock began his tenure at Washburn on Nov. 14, 2011. He is the Senior Director of Development for Athletics after spending the previous 10 years as the voice of the Ichabod football and basketball teams.
Steinbrock was at 580AM WIBW in Topeka for a decade where he hosted a daily afternoon sports show; earning the Kansas Sportscaster of the year four times in 10 seasons of broadcasting Washburn athletics.
Steinbrock is a 1989 graduate from Kansas State with a bachelor’s of science degree in Journalism and Mass Communication and earned his master’s in Leadership and Communication from Washburn in 2020. He lives in Topeka with his wife Maria. His daughter Madison, also a Washburn grad, will earn her master’s at KU in May and begin working at the University of New Mexico in June.
