Partnership Announces Annual Meeting
The Greater Topeka Partnership is scheduled to hold its “Back to Momentum” 2021 Annual Meeting on Tuesday, July 20 at Evergy Plaza, 3 - 6 p.m. In addition to updates from Partnership leaders, this outdoor event will include beer gardens, food trucks, live music, as well as exclusive VIP seating and amenities.
“This will be an Annual Meeting unlike anything the Partnership has done before. It may be a first for organizations like ours in the country,” Matt Pivarnik, Greater Topeka Partnership CEO, said. “After a long year, we want to invite the community to come celebrate our resilience and our progress as we start a new chapter and get back to our momentum. I am excited to be able to bring together our members, stakeholders, elected leaders and community members for a fun and exciting afternoon of food, music and community pride.”
“For this event, we are focusing on togetherness,” Stephanie Norwood, director of events, Greater Topeka Partnership, said. “Obviously, with the pandemic, so many people have been kept apart, or kept at a distance, for the better part of 15 months. So, we want to reunite community members and reintroduce them to what the Partnership is doing. There will be exclusive, VIP features for our members, including food, drink and seating, but at the same time we’re inviting the public to hear from us, enjoy beer gardens, food trucks and more.”
“We’re inviting everyone who is invested in Topeka & Shawnee County community to join us to share in our successes from 2020 and help us inspire our momentum for the rest of 2021,” Keith Warta, Greater Topeka Partnership Chairs Council chair, said. “That being said, attendees will also be able to enjoy live entertainment and prime networking opportunities.”
