GO Topeka Launches New Website And Branding
GO Topeka, an organization of the Greater Topeka Partnership, announced the launch of its new website and brand. As an economic development organization, GO Topeka’s mission includes business attraction, business development and retention, minority and women business development, small business support, talent recruitment and retention, young talent engagement and innovation initiatives.
“In today’s market, as we compete to attract employers to our region, developers and potential businesses will check us out first online. Our initial impression has never been more important,” said Molly Howey, president, GO Topeka. “This new look will serve to make us more competitive and distinguish ourselves from other leading economic development organizations in the nation.”
“Topeka has changed radically in the past five years,” said Bob Ross, senior vice president of marketing and communications, Greater Topeka Partnership. “As a result, GO Topeka’s mission and its audience is changing as well. This branding, and our new website, is designed to stand side by side with innovative national brands and enhance our credibility as a community to invest in.”
“Working on this project for the last 18 months has been very rewarding,” said Rhett Flood, marketing account manager, GO Topeka. “I am particularly proud of the arrow icon we have developed. You will notice it will always be pointed forward or upwards when we leverage it. This is because, as a community, we are always advancing and reaching for more. The orange color palette was an intentional choice as well. It honors an element of our past branding and conveys a dynamic message that Topeka is bold, energetic and ready to compete for national attention.”
