Maria Dressman Given Agent of the Year Award at KAIA Annual Convention

KAIA’s Annual Conference offered a lively, inspiring, and rewarding environment for all who attended this year, with plenty of networking opportunities, continuing education credit, presentations from expert speakers, and recognition of industry standouts. 

Each year at the conference, industry leaders are introduced and recognized with annual insurance industry awards as well as the announcement and swearing-in of the association’s new board members and officers. The award categories are Agent of the Year, Distinguished Service Award, Company Rep of the Year, Outstanding Young Agent, and Outstanding Account Manager.

This year’s Agent of the Year award was given to Maria Dressman from Elliott Group in Topeka, KS..
This award recognizes a Kansas agent who has made significant contributions to the industry, enhancing the ideals and reputation of the industry and/or shown a commitment of service to their community. This award is open to all KAIA agent members. This year’s recipient holds the CIC and CAWC designations and has been active in KAIA and the industry for over 20 years. In addition, our winner is serving her second year as the Chair of the Insurance Intelligence Committee. This committee hosts the Mid-America Insurance Conference which brings together agents from around the country to share their ideas with ISO, ACORD, NCCI, and insurance companies to drive coverage innovation and positive changes to rules, forms, and other technical matters.
