The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus proudly announces the appointment of Adam Meier, MSN, RN, NE-BC, CPHQ, as the new chief nursing officer (CNO). With over 11 years of dedicated service at The University of Kansas Health System, Adam brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of leadership that instills confidence in his ability to lead our nursing department.
In his most recent role as the director of nursing for ambulatory operations at the health system's main campus, Adam Meier has consistently demonstrated exceptional skills in managing and enhancing patient care. His profound understanding of healthcare operations and unwavering commitment to excellence in patient care make him uniquely suited for this position.
Adam holds a nursing degree from William Jewell College and has earned a graduate degree in nursing and healthcare administration from MidAmerica Nazarene University. His educational background and extensive hands-on experience make him an asset to the St. Francis Campus leadership team.
In addition to his tenure at The University of Kansas Health System, Adam Meier served as the ICU hospital Magnet champion at North Kansas City Hospital. This experience will prove invaluable as we progress in our Magnet journey, further solidifying our commitment to excellence in nursing and patient care.
