Urologist Christina Peterson, MD Returns Home to Topeka
The University of Kansas Health System St. Francis Campus is pleased to announce the addition of Topeka native Dr. Christina Peterson, a highly trained urologist to their urology team.
A proud Topeka native and Washburn Rural High School alumna, Dr. Peterson is excited to return to her hometown to serve her community and reconnect with family and friends. She earned her Doctor of Medicine from the University of Kansas School of Medicine and completed her residency in urologic surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.
Dr. Peterson brings extensive expertise and advanced training in various aspects of urology, including general adult urology, laser applications, endourology, robotic nephrectomy, and urologic oncology. She provides state-of-the-art treatments for conditions such as kidney stones; testicular, bladder, kidney, and prostate cancers; laser ablation of an enlarged prostate; vasectomies; bladder control issues; and erectile dysfunction.
