Iron Rail Brewing is excited to announce the addition of Jeff McDonald, an acclaimed Brewmaster with a remarkable track record in the craft beer industry, to our team. Jeff's extensive experience and passion for brewing make him an invaluable asset as we continue to elevate the Iron Rail experience for our customers.
Jeff McDonald brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise, having honed his craft at well-known breweries across California, Colorado, Virginia, and Texas. His impressive list of accolades includes:
Gold Medal - Texas Craft Brewers Cup, Neato Bandito (Cream Ale Category), 2023
Honorable Mention - Virginia Craft Brewers Cup, Pathfinder (Pale Ale Category), 2021
Gold Medal - Great American Beer Festival, Northstar (Imperial Porter Category), 2019
In addition to his awards, Jeff holds a Master’s Degree in Biology and a Master’s Degree in Brewing & Distilling, demonstrating his commitment to both the science and art of brewing. His innovative approach and deep understanding of beer-making will undoubtedly contribute to the growth and success of Iron Rail Brewing.
