Topeka Credit Union Foundation Awards Nine Organizations with $33,000 in Community Grants
The Topeka Credit Union Foundation (TCUF) awarded nine local organizations with $33,000 in community grants this morning at its annual Benefactors Breakfast. The event celebrates the ongoing collaboration of Topeka-area credit unions in supporting programs that strengthen families, empower youth, and improve quality of life across Northeast Kansas.
Since its formation in 2004, the Topeka Credit Union Foundation has awarded over $513,197 in grant funding to local nonprofit organizations through the shared generosity of its member credit unions and community partners.
“Each of these organizations is doing incredible work to make Topeka and our surrounding communities stronger, safer, and more compassionate,” said Christina Schmidt, Chief Operations Officer for Envista Federal Credit Union and Vice Chair of the Topeka Credit Union Foundation. “As credit unions, we believe in people helping people. These grants are one way we live out that philosophy—by investing directly in programs that change lives.”
