Prevention and Resiliency Services (PARS) Announces Olivia Herrman as New Executive Director
Prevention and Resiliency Services (PARS) has named Olivia Herrman as its new Executive Director, marking an exciting new chapter for the organization as it continues its mission to support healthy, resilient communities.
Herrman brings more than seven years of experience with Heartland RADAC, where she held roles in peer support, care coordination, and program leadership. Most recently, she served as supervisor of the community-based peer mentor program, helping expand services, strengthen partnerships, and support individuals across Kansas in their recovery journeys.
As an individual in long-term recovery, Herrman leads with authenticity, empathy, and a deep commitment to meeting people where they are. Her lived experience, paired with her professional background, informs a leadership approach grounded in connection, accountability, and purpose.
“I am honored to step into this role and serve the Topeka community through PARS,” said Herrman. “This organization has a strong foundation, and I look forward to building on that work to continue empowering youth and families while promoting prevention, resilience, and long-term well-being.”
A proud Topeka resident, Herrman is passionate about strengthening the community she calls home. In her new role, she will lead PARS in advancing evidence-based prevention strategies, expanding community partnerships, and continuing to provide resources that support individuals and families across Shawnee County.
This leadership transition reflects PARS’ continued commitment to evolving alongside the needs of the community while staying grounded in its mission of prevention, education, and support.
