- Goodell, Stratton, Edmonds & Palmer, LLP – Outstanding Corporation
- Sabatini Family Foundation – Outstanding Foundation
- Bob Evenson, Topeka Aviation Explorer Post 8 – Outstanding Volunteer Fundraiser
Typically held in November as part of the nationwide observance of National Philanthropy Day, the 2015 event was moved to October to take advantage of AFP International’s president and CEO Andrew Watt’s planned visit to Topeka. Watt will be giving the luncheon keynote exploring the future of philanthropy.
“We’re pleased to recognize the outstanding efforts of our award recipients, and excited to have Mr. Watt as our special guest,” said Jeremy Hall, AFP-TCOP president. “Topeka – and all of northeast Kansas – is blessed with generous neighbors and business partners. Our National Philanthropy Day celebration is an opportunity to honor the giving spirit of our community,”
Individual tickets for the luncheon are $35 and available at www.afptopeka.afpnet.org or by calling Tina Long at 785-354-5995.
