Koch & Co., Inc. is expanding and opening a new manufacturing facility in East Topeka at 1050 SE Republican Avenue. GO Topeka presented an incentive package to JEDO at the July 1 meeting that sets aside $100,000 for up to 50 new jobs at the new facility. "I welcome Koch & Co. to Topeka. The city's economy has been strengthened by the addition of this company and its jobs. Their location on the East side of Topeka is significant in providing new jobs in this area of the city," said Topeka Mayor Larry Wolgast. "The incentives for these jobs are a win-win for the company and for Topeka."
"Koch & Co. creates high quality interior and exterior doors. This incentive package is especially positive as it provides new jobs to an area that needs and deserves strong economic development," said Shawnee County Commissioner Bob Archer.
