ETDA to Host Groundbreaking for New Oral Health Facility
East Topeka Dental Associates (ETDA) will host a groundbreaking ceremony for their new oral health facility this Friday. The groundbreaking will signify exciting new changes coming for the local organization.
Originally purchased in 2008 by Ben Rutherford, D.D.S., ETDA has been in operation for 11 years, with offices in Topeka and Holton. Carrie Peterson, D.D.S., joined the team in 2009, and the two have seen major growth in recent years. This, along with their goal of staying current with technological advances and optimum dental care, the decision was made to expand their Topeka office to a new location.
“We have been so blessed by our patients,” said Carrie Peterson, D.D.S. “With a new building we will have the ability to add technology that we currently do not have and cannot support in our current location. This technology will benefit our patients, as we are a patient-centric practice.”
With the new facility, Drs. Rutherford and Peterson will now offer dental implant treatments, same-day crowns, and easier digital dental impressions.
“We will continue to provide patients with the same family-friendly, honest and kind dental care,” said Peterson. “However, we will be able to offer our patients more convenience and more treatment options. We love East Topeka and hope that our continued presence and investment will add to the momentum we’re seeing on this side of town.”
In addition to the new clinic location, ETDA has also rebranded their business to be Topeka Dentistry. The new logo and branding will be revealed at the groundbreaking ceremony, taking place at 1:00 pm on Friday, November 8 at 3316 SE 28th Terrace behind the Glory Days by Lake Shawnee.
The team at ETDA is eager to share their excitement with the community and the organizations helping along the way. The design and construction team for this project includes Architect One and KBS Constructors. Other organizations involved in the recent progress include ACTIONCoach, Bajillion Agency and PNC Bank.
“We feel lucky to work with the team we have assembled,” said Peterson. “They truly care about this project and how it affects our business. It is obvious they also care about Topeka and are excited to be a part of a project that further develops the East Topeka area.”
