NAIA Partners with Yes! Athletics

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced that it has come to an agreement with Yes! Athletics to become the ‘Official Women’s Wrestling Shoe Provider of the NAIA.’ The agreement begins immediately and will run through March of 2023.

Yes! Athletics was founded by Deb North, a Topeka entrepreneur and single mom of 3 girls. The company began in 2019 when North’s daughter began wrestling and North discovered that there were no wrestling shoe options made specifically for girls. She wanted to ensure that female wrestlers felt confident, comfortable and proud to be women.

“Women’s wrestling is one of the fastest growing sports in the United States,” stated North. “My goal was to create a company that encourages and empowers girls to pursue the sport.”

Yes! Athletics empowers young female athletes by filling the gap in sporting goods gear for girls in sport. Included in the agreement will also be naming rights of both the NAIA Women’s Wrestling Top 20 polls and of the NAIA National Women’s Wrestlers of the Week honors.
