Cardiologist Saranapoom Klomjit, M.D., Joins Stormont Vail Health
At a young age, Dr. Klomjit’s mother instilled in him the values of helping others and caring for the people around him, motivating him to become a physician. Cardiology is a complex specialty, says Dr. Klomjit, and the challenge of working those cases is what drove him to choosing it.
“I want to take the time to learn everything about my patients,” he said. “I will work long hours to make sure that my patients know that I heard them and that I care about their health.”
Dr. Klomjit received his medical degree at Phramongkutklao College of Medicine, Mahidol University, Thailand, in 2011. He then completed an internal medicine residency in 2016 and finished his cardiology fellowship in 2019, both at the Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center, Lubbock, Texas.
When not in the clinic, Dr. Klomjit enjoys swimming, basketball and spending time outdoors.
