Take the long view and understand it’s one day at a time. Don’t beat yourself up If you have a bad day; perfection is the enemy! Ask for and accept help. Instead of saying, “I can’t,” look for ways you can make better choices.
I’ve battled with my weight since I was six years old. I’ve had periods when I’ve been at a healthy weight, but haven’t been able to maintain it. I wanted to be part of BetterU for accountability and encouragement.
I’ve lost 20 pounds! I’ve experience some emotional and spiritual breakthrough regarding my relationship with food—which is key for me!
Challenges to Overcome

Inspiration to Others
I hope others will understand that is possible to change a lifetime of bad habits, negative self-talk and setbacks. That there are no quick fixes; but that acquiring better health habits is much more satisfying than overeating.
