The Creative team at Advisors Excel, one of the nation’s leading insurance marketing organizations, recently earned eight awards in the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts 22nd Annual Communicator Awards.
Eight students were classroom winners and earned the opportunity to pitch in front of some local business professionals.
“The Women’s Fund,” a donor-advised fund of the Topeka Community Foundation is hosting a luncheon where they will award $39,160.00 to seven local organizations for programs directed at financial literacy for women and children and arts programs for children after school.
The Jayhawk Area Council, Boy Scouts of America has named the Founders of Advisors Excel, Cody Foster, David Callanan and Derek Thompson as their 2016 recipients of the Distinguished Citizen Award.
