At its meeting Wednesday, Topeka and Shawnee County’s Joint Economic Development Organization (JEDO) board took a bold step forward in developing downtown Topeka’s ASTRA Innovation District.

Today, Topeka and Shawnee County’s Joint Economic Development Organization (JEDO) board voted to invest in the growth of Vaerus Aviation.

Previously referred to as “Project Finish Line,” the company’s expansion is expected to result in 300 new jobs and the addition of a manufacturing facility at their current location.
